07/10/25 Happy Summer!! Hope everyone is enjoying the warmish weather. We are on break until the end of July. We will start again the first Thursday in August, 08/07/25. We are still checking email so get in touch if you need to, otherwise enjoy some summer fun and God Bless!

06/12/25 Hi all! We will not be having class tonight but look forward to seeing you next Thursday 6/19/25.

I also wanted to share with everyone that in April the Missions Committee at Andover Christian Church donated $1,000, so we could purchase our first bundle of books for the group. Most of them have been on backorder since early May (Ahh!). I am happy to report they have finally arrived. I cannot tell you how much this means to everyone involved!

We will be keeping our GoFundMe page open in anticipation of future needs but for right now we are all set!

06/07/25 Hello everyone! Just a quick note to let you know we will still be meeting through the summer. Please contact us if you would like to join or consider stopping by the church. With the nice weather we have been meeting at the picnic tables by the playground. It has been such a blessing working through our workbooks and learning about each other. We are now meeting every Thursday so we can keep in touch and support each other with prayer. I pray for each and every one of you and hope that you are able to find healing.

3/06/25 Good evening all! We are slowly making progress but it is progress. We got our first donation on Gofundme, but it was enough to sponsor the 10 session course for one group member. YAY! I was also able to find the course books at another online book store for a discount, so we will be able to save a little on our materials cost!! We also sent out our first round of contact emails to local churches. This is an important step in setting up community partnerships for referrals moving forward. Hopefully over the next few weeks the passive enthusiasm we have experienced so far will translate into spirited acceptance by the local faith community.

Next up, we will continue to fundraise. See our GoFundMe link if you want to help. We will also begin getting in touch with individuals who have expressed an interest in attending our group class and we are finalizing our marketing packet. This includes group flyers, course brochures, and SeeknFind cards. As soon as they are completed, we will pass them on to the Anoka Ramsey Community College Student Life Director, for final approval and distribution around campus.

Remember, if your are interested in attending our support group and class, to visit our contact page and let us know. If you are a community member, and you would like more information, are interested in collaboration, or would like us to come speak to your congregation or assembly, please complete the community contact form. We will get in touch with you as soon as possible!

Thank you again for all your prayers, support, and guidance! JE

We are trying to raise enough funds to purchase the course materials for all group members attending the April 2025 group. Many of them are local college students and the book costs are an obstacle to their healing. Please help us by sponsoring one group member for $55, this will cover their course costs for the 10 sessions.

02/18/25 Hi there! Shawn and I are getting through all the red tape of starting a group :) We just had a meeting with the Pastor at our home church (ACC) and they will be letting us use their building for meetings. This is awesome, we have grown to love the community spirit of the congregation and it is one of those buildings that makes you feel loved and safe every time you walk in. Pastor Reggie and the ministry team will continue to support us with prayers and mentoring.

We are still coordinating funding, mainly for the training sessions and the materials we need for the meetings (books and workbooks). Since this is a community project and we want to keep it open to anyone regardless of faith, we are trying to raise at least half of the total ourselves that's about $750 of the total $1,500

Funding is always a suspenseful process. You ask, sit with nothing, and wait and pray...then suddenly it arrives! I always wonder, after the fact, why I was so stressed. If you would like to help us reach our goal, you can use the Go Fund Me link below

Now that we have a location we will begin emailing people on our contact list to keep them updated. We plan to have our training finished by 3/17 and our goal date for the Women's group is 4/1 .

We are still looking for men who want to start a group. Please email us if you are interested and we will put you on the contact list. As soon as we have at least 5 members we can put a Men's group on the schedule.
